What is the Advanced Anti-Spam System module?
The Advanced Anti-SPAM System module is designed to prevent SPAM practices by users and BOTS in Prestashop online stores.
- Currently , Prestashop stores are being victims of numerous SPAM practices:
- Sending SPAM messages from the contact form
- Unauthorized access to the ADMIN panel and the FRONT-OFFICE

- Use of massive shopping carts by BOTS
- SPAM customer registration
- Use of Newsletter forms for SPAM registrations
- Theft of information such as email addresses by BOTS
All of the above situations derive from a breach in the store's security caused by a lack of action preventive defaults from the Prestashop platform itself.
For this reason, we have designed this module that increases the security of the website by preventing all these unwanted situations that violate the security and data integrity of your online store .
With this module you will have comprehensive protection against unauthorized access and spam practices.
WHAT IS THE PROTECTION THAT THE ADVANCED ANTI-SPAM SYSTEM MODULE OFFERS YOU?
ADVANCED CONTACT FORM PROTECTION
You have the option to choose the countries so that the module carries out its validation process and ignores addresses that contain unselected countries.
- Protect the contact form against message submissions spam.
- Set a minimum time for sending several messages from the contact form.
- Restrict sending to email addresses, TLDs, domains and IP addresses.
- Prohibits the use of words in the content of the message, which are included in a custom blacklist.
PROTECTION AGAINST BRUTE FORCE ATTACKS
The system protects against unauthorized access attempts using the brute force attack technique on the client login forms or administrator panel.
BOTS DETECTION USING HONEYPOTS
The system detects bots by using the honeypot technique in the contact, customer registration and login forms. When the system detects that it is a bot, it blocks access permanently by including its IP address in a list of banned IP addresses.
REINFORCED FIELDS VALIDATION
The system has a reinforcement in the validation of fields in the customer registration form. Prevents spam customer registration.
ACCESS RESTRICTION
The module has a database of more than 100,000 IP addresses included in an official blacklist. It also has more than 2,000 records of malicious bots. The system prevents access to the store as soon as it detects that a user or bot belongs to one of these lists. Daily update of the IP address blacklist using CRON task.
PROTECTION WITH GOOGLE RECAPTCHA
The module has integrated anti-spam protection with Google reCAPTCHA in the contact forms, customer registration, customer/admin login, Newsletter form and password recovery. Integration with Google reCAPTCHA V2 I am not a robot, invisible V2 and V3.
SPAMMER DETECTION ENGINE USING THE STOPFORUMSPAM.COM API
The module integrates an API connection with the stopforumspam.com website to consult the user's data to determine if it is considered SPAM. If detected, the module will block the user using their IP address.
PREVENTS THE CREATION OF GHOST CARTS
Its prevention engine acts on BOTS that create ghost shopping carts to extract product data. The system prohibits the add to cart action by BOTS and performs a corrective action on it (redirect to the BOT or prohibit access). The system allows access and creation of carts to BOTS from search engines and social networks.
ACTIVITY REGISTER
All store activity is recorded and saved in the database so you can consult this data from the module options.
